Export in different formats

Exporting from webQsee

(You might also be interested in importing to webQsee)

webQsee allows you to export what's going on inside a browser tab (= in websites), in form of a tab video or tab screenshot combined with network traffic, console logs and environmental data.

The first one, a video of a browser tab, combined with sniffed data of this tab, is what we call a Behavior Report.
The second one, a screenshot of a browser tab, combined with sniffed data of this tab, is what we call an Event Snapshot.

Behavior Reports and Event Snapshots can be exported by clicking the download icon in the Gallery item and they can be imported through dragging and dropping them in the "Import" Tab of the Local Gallery or anywhere in the main webQsee window.

Currently, imports of Behavior Reports are only possible for paying customers or free users that have been invited to a paying webQsee team. Please take a look at our Feature Matrix for more information.

Imports of Event Snapshots are free for everyone, even for users that do not have a webQsee account.
The same is true for exports of both Event Snapshots and Behavior Reports.

Since webQsee also provides you with an Analyzer to be used for live inspection of websites, you can also export data from the Analyzer's Events Grid.
The Events Grid's export button allows you to export data in various formats:

HAR - All Http Events

Creates a HAR (Http Archive) file containing all Http Events (= all simple http requests, currently not including WebSocket event).

HAR - Selected Http Events

Creates a HAR file containing all Http events that are selected via the checkbox-column of the Events Grid.

HAR - Filtered Http Events

Creates a HAR file containing all Http events matching the current filtering criteria.

Excel - All Events

Creates an Excel file containing a simple overview over events of any type (Http, Console, WebSocket, Server-Sent-Event). Response bodies are not contained in this export.

Excel - Selected Events

Creates an Excel file containing a simple overview over events of any type that are selected via the checkbox-column of the Events Grid. Response bodies are not contained in this export.

Excel - Filteres Events

Creates an Excel file containing a simple overview over events of any type matching the current filtering criterias. Response bodies are not contained in this export.

Event Snapshot - All Events

Exports all events currently contained in the Events Grid plus optionally a screenshot and the cookies of the inspected tab. The exported data will be combined in a custom format ("Event Snapshot") invented by webQsee.
If you download an Event Snapshot, you receive a single file (.esa - Event Snapshot Archive) that can be shared with anyone and can be imported by any other webQsee user for free (even if they do not have a webQsee account).
Read more about Event Snapshots here.

Event Snapshot - Selected Events

Exports events of any type that are selected via the checkbox-column of the Events Grid plus optionally a screenshot and the cookies of the inspected tab.

Event Snapshot - Filtered Events

Exports events of any type matching the current filtering criterias plus optionally a screenshot and the cookies of the inspected tab.

Inspected Page MHTML

Creates a web page archive of the currently inspected page. Further information about the web page archive format can be found here.

Inspected Page Cookies

Creates a file containing the cookies for all resource URLs requested by the currently inspected page.

Exporting Website Behavior

BAR - Behavior Archive

Creates a single file that contains all data of a single Behavior Report. This export functionality is available via the Gallery Tab. A Behavior Report is a video of a browser tab combined with the http traffic and the console output of this tab during the video, plus some environmental data. It can be considered to be the big brother of the Event Snapshot.

Export HAR to Excel

webQsee allows you to export the data that is typically available in the HAR file as Excel which is much easier to handle than a HAR file.
